AVBB MADE ITS DEBUT PARTICIPATION AT CINE GEAR EXPO 2017 IN LOS ANGELES, CA

Los Angeles, CA, June 7, 2017 – For the first time, AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corp. participated at the Cine Gear Expo that took place this past June 2-3, 2017 at the Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, CA.  Cine Gear Expo is an annual event targeted towards professionals in cinematography, movie productions, and more recently digital content.  Cine Gear featured 300 exhibits, new product and service introductions, 30+ complimentary seminars led by industry leaders, master classes, film competition, awards ceremony, special screenings in state of the art theaters and ample opportunities to network with peers within a studio environment.

Attending from AVBB were Tommy Goodson – President of AVBB, and Christian Young – Director of Marketing for AVBB.  Two manufacturer representatives accompanied AVBB in the booth: Mitsuhiro Uchida – Sales Engineer for WOWOW, and Thom Belford – President of Osee Americas.  “We decided to participate in this event in order to promote two key products that we represent in the Americas – the IS-miniX LUT box and the award-winning WonderLook Pro Color Management Software from WOWOW.  And we are very happy that we made this decision.  This event attracts the best of the best in cinematography and we noticed a great reception for those two products”, commented Tommy Goodson.

The IS-miniX is a digital color adjustment device that allows for on-set camera preview and monitor calibration for professional motion picture productions.  For this event, AVBB also displayed the IS-miniX 4K Rack which takes advantage of the power of four individual LUT boxes in order to control four 3G-SDI signals, great for 4K material.  To maximize the features of the IS-miniX, the WonderLook Pro Color Management software was also on display.

Frame capturing, ancillary data, as well as chroma-keying, and logo/text overlay were some of the newest features added to the latest version of the WonderLook Pro.    “I am very pleased that AVBB participated in this event.  The IS-miniX rack and mainly, the WonderLook Pro software received great acceptance at this show.  Previous users of the IS-mini LUT box and of the IS-manager software, predecessor of the WonderLook Pro, expressed interest on the new products and confirmed their superiority over similar products”, expressed Mitsuhiro Uchida.  “We will expect a healthy demand for the IS-miniX and WonderLook Pro in the short term”.

Another brand that was displayed at the Cine Gear Expo was the British company, Phabrix® and its test and measurement instruments, the SxTAG and SxE portable units, and the Qx rasterizer model for 4K and IP signals.  The SxTAG allows to analyze, monitor, and generate analog, digital, fiber optical, HDMI® signals.  A new SFP module option to measure IP signals will be introduced this summer.  The Phabrix® SxE portable analyzer includes eye pattern and jitter measurements as standard.  And the PHQX01E, from the Qx Series, provides Real-time Eye (RTE®) analysis for 4K signals and accepts 3G/6G/12G-SDI.

Osee Americas displayed several of its popular and latest professional monitors, in 17”, 25”, and 55” sizes.
