AVBB is the official representative of PHABRIX and Cinedeck for the entire American continent. During this trade show, AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corporation introduced the line of measuring and test instruments from PHABRIX – from the Sx portable line, to its modular rasterizers Rx, to the new line of hybrid instruments for measuring 4K, 8K, and IP signals the Qx Series.
Among the Sx Series, there is the SxTAG / TAG-C which is an entry level model for the analysis, monitoring, and generation of NTSC and PAL analog signals as well as SD / HD / 3G SDI. “The SxTAG of PHABRIX is ideal for the Latin American market which is in the process of digital transition,” said Mr. Carlos Noguera, sales manager for Latin America. “In addition, it does not only accept SDI signals, but also fiber optic and HDMI signals via SFP modules. With this varied number of signals that the TAG can process, this tool is the solution that several field and studio engineers need to verify that the signals they receive is adequate to the strict standards of video and audio.” Another complete line of instruments that can be used by broadcasters in Mexico is the Rx series. These are modular systems in compact sizes that can be rack-mounted or used on a desk and in addition to the basic functions of a measuring instrument they can measure eye pattern and jitter, as well as analyze and generate Dolby audio signals.
In the area of content playback and recording equipment, AVBB presented the ZX deck from Cinedeck. This server is a highly intelligent and advanced VTR replacement that allows the user to record or convert content to different formats or CODECs, without a complicated conversion process. In addition, the ZX deck by Cinedeck allows file-based editing in a fast and simple way without having to go through the “rendering” phase and thus saving time and costs.
